Great Value on this Nakiri. Great steel, made by a very capable blacksmith, this knife will make quick work out of any vegetable you throw at it. A little on the shorter side from heel to spine and has a very flat profile, making it great for those who love to chop using an up and down motion. Nice and thin behind the edge this knife still carries a bit of weight in the blade, quite normal for this style of knife.

A tall blade provides lots of travel on your knuckles and a flat profile makes lots of contact with the board making this the perfect knife for vegetable chopping. Flip it over and use the flat spine of the knife to scrape ingredients on your board into a neat pile then use the large surface area of the blade to scoop and move ingredients into bowls, pans, Tupperware etc…
