The Naniwa Professional line (previously known as the Chocera line) are super hard splash and go stones. These stones are slow wearing, fast cutting and HARD. They have a higher amount of abrasives and less binder than other lines from Naniwa, and are one of the best lines of stones money can buy in our opinion!
This 2000 grit stone is a superb option to finish softer stainless steel, or touch up harder stainless or carbon steels. It works as a great maintenance stone for weekly sharpening, or for filling the gap in your stone progression, before higher grit polishing. Compared to other popular 2000 grit stones like Naniwa traditional or "Green brick of Joy", this guy is much harder and slower wearing -- it will feel a lot "glossier" and leaves a great refined edge, more than enough for home use, and everyday professional use as well!
