HOW WILL TARIFFS AFFECT MY ORDER?

U.S. customers may be wondering how their order will be affected by the recently imposed trade tariffs. SHARP is committed to keeping our shipping experience smooth and providing as much clarity to our customers as possible. Read on and please reach out with any questions.

 

WILL I OWE DUTIES OR TAXES ON MY ORDER? 

No. We recently made changes to our pricing for our US based customers that displays the total price of a product while you're browsing our site. This way, when you reach checkout and input your payment and shipping information, you will not be hit with any additional fees. The price you see on the product page is the total price to have the item delivered to your door. 

 

WILL THERE BE SHIPPING DELAYS IN RECEIVING MY ORDER? 

There shouldn't be! Since SHARP collects and pays duties in advance, all our packages will arrive at the border as ‘Delivered Duty Paid’, or DDP. This ensures they swiftly pass through customs and continue on their journey to you without significant delays. Thus far, we have seen very minimal issues with border crossing thanks to this setup, but we do ask for your understanding if there are unexpected issues in the coming weeks. We ship using Fedex and are in daily communication with them to ensure all shipments reach their destination in the promised time frame. They come to the shop to pick up packages at 1 pm so have your order in by 12 pm and it should get packed up and handed off to Fedex that day. Fedex does not pick up packages on Saturdays and Sundays so the weekend cutoff is Friday at 12 pm.
