The feel and the sounds is nothing I have ever felt or heard before. So smooth to use, you have to experience it to know. All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase, it will get passed to generations after me if it’s well taken care of. Total time from ordering, processing, shipping and getting the board was 2 business days, no complaints there! The board is absolutely gorgeous & on top of that, a conversation piece in my kitchen for sure! Packaging is solid, your board should not encounter any damage in transit as it’s very well packaged, wrapped & conditioned with bees wax & milk oil. You can ensure longevity for your board by applying board conditioner on a monthly basis. (Buy the large size) So far this is the board of my dreams and made in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I will buy another style in the future. These Larchwood cutting board are exceptional, but the customer service i got from sharp is the best ive ever seen! Thank you Team Sharp for the education.

We've had a larger larchwood cutting board for years but it is so large and heavy that it's tricky to wash. I picked up the large one-hander and it's a great size for most tasks but it's also small and light enough to make cleaning easy. The first board arrived damaged but sharp knife shop was very quick to send a replacement. We love it!

Great smaller cutting board for where I have limited counterspace. It's also great for prepping smaller items. It's very solid without being too heavy, and the rubber feet keep the board in place. It also looks gorgeous and is easier on my knives. I wish I would have gotten one of these a long time ago.

Beautiful board, beautifully made! Good value for the price if you've invested in good knives. You can instantly tell the beneficial difference when cutting on end grain. Gage was super helpful!
If you need a smaller board to fit a smaller space but don't want to give up quality or aesthetics, this is the board for you. If you are looking for a larger board, or something with a little more heft to it, this may not be for you. But it is excellent for what it is advertised as. Gage and the crew as always did an awesome job of getting it out and to me super quick and in perfect condition.
Very comfortable and happy sounds with chopping. I will buy more one in the future!
It really is the size of on hand. Love that they have rubber grips on the bottom and enjoy the sound it makes when chopping.
Love this board. The way it feels vs a platstic board. It’s completely different and gentle on the knives.
Need to cut something in a hurry, or do you have a little job to do, then this board is for you. Beautiful, handy (!), and the best out there. I love these latchwood boards. The end-grain also protects your knives. I couldn't be happier with these boards.
The Larchwood boards at the Sharp Knife Shop are really, really wonderful. They are relatively easy to care for, look absolutely fantastic, and really do the job. This smaller board is easy to handle yet still has ample space to do quick tasks. I think these boards are the perfect compliment to the outstanding knives we can get at the shop. I highly recommend it!
A small and handy cutting board which is as beautiful as it is versatile and gentle to your blades. I've used the conditioner to pimp up my other boards, and also got inspired to mount rubber feets under my older end grain oak cutting board. Next up for purchase may very well be one of the Hasegawa boards. Also, the speed and accuracy of delivery is quite remarkable. Just imagine, all the way from Hamilton, Ontario to a small town close to Westbay (Västervik) in Sweden in no time. I love it!
This cutting board is beautiful, has impeccable workmanship and looks great in my kitchen I’ll be buying another. It looks way better in person than in the photos, and it looks great in the photos :-)

This is my second larchwood cutting board, the first is larger. I love the end grain appearance and function. My first board still looks new despite daily use. The conditioner is brilliant. Highly recommend both.
As good as the larger larchwood board I have, but very handy for smaller, quicker jobs. Also as with the larger one, it is easy on high HRC Japanese knives.

I got this and the smaller size. Both look just beautiful. The feet prevent them from sliding around in use, but do not interfere with storing them. So far they seem easy on my knives.
Cutting board is very light , well made and pretty. It arrive faster than estimated and packaged well . I’m very happy with the quality of the boards and sharp knife have excellent customer support. My question was answered very promptly.
