ABOUT THIS PRODUCT: Stone Holder

While they aren't necessary for the sharpening process they sure make the experience a whole lot more enjoyable. This stone holder gets the whetstone you're using to sharpen your knives up off the surface you're working on giving you much more space for you knuckles. The rubber feet are also quite sticky and keep your whetstone from sliding around on even the most slippery of surfaces.
Easily Adjustable by using the screws to tighten against the whetstone and fits every stone we've ever used it with even the monstrous Kikuichi stone we carry. Made from heavy duty stainless steel we treat the one's we use at the shop with less respect than we should and they still perform beautifully and will last a lifetime.

I can't love such, but! Its not sliding on the surface i'm working which is a really good point in itself, i started with some cheap whetstone set and it was coming with a wooden block that wasn't doing it. Now this, this gives me stability, which obviously is good when handling a knife. I like it, since i started sharpening knives, i purchased many whetstones and it does well with the different sizes.

Works well. Grips stone securely and doesn't slide around on my countertop or board. Wish the center block was the same level as the stone cut-outs for added support.
