This is a good sleeve. It's got some softer material coating the inside so it won't scratch the finish. But it is tight as this is the "thin" model. It's probably too tight for my yanagiba. So I will save it for my sujihiki when I get one in the future.
Perfect fit on my Masutani.
Nice smooth felt. It doesn’t catch on the sides and completely covers the blade. Very well thought out product.
Great fit for the knife.
Knife guard is tight, the inside is padded which makes the knife slide in with ease and stays snug within. The outside is made of a tough, durable plastic capable of protecting the fragile edge of my makoto kurasaki bunka that I got it for. It is definitely a must buy if you are looking to protect an expensive knife and its edge. Be advised that it comes in different sizes so you should pay attention to buy the correct size.
Knife guards are important. Knife guards are not a glamorous tool. But without them your knife can be damaged, especially in shipping or travel to sharpening. I've found these (I've bought a variety of sizes) guards do the job really well. Other guards can be too firm, others too flimsy. The Sharp Knife Shop guards are just right. I highly recommend them.
It’s really protect the knife!!! Good fit as well
It’s really protects the knife… quality made
Very sleek design and works like a charm!
Great knife guard but it doesn't fit into my knife drawer.
Nice knife guard but it doesn't fit into my knife drawer.
Thought these were foam almost by the picture but are hard plastic with felt inside to protect your knives. They are perfect and there is no need to buy anything else to protect your knife, this does the trick and then some. Love it!
These are great, especially if you don't have a magnetic strip to hold your knives. Even if you do, buy one for the knife you keep on your counter. They are especially great for traveling if you don't have a bag or only intend on bringing one knife.
i cover all. my knifes with the sharp knife cover
One of the few that I bought from Sharp. Gets the job done effectively. Its a thin yet durable cover for your knife. The price and the quality for such a Saya is hands down. Thank you for your always brilliant service.
As always Gage and his team was a breeze to deal with. This is my second Saya for my blade, keeps the knife protected. Once the sheath is on, you can have a peace of mind. Thank you for your efficient service every time with my orders.
The best and efficient guard for my Nakiri. Kudos to the Sharp Team for the remarkable service and fast delivery.Looking forward to acquire more blades and accessories in future.
Easy to slip on and keeps my knife safe when I'm not using it!
Simple guard that does exactly what it's designed for, plastic is nice and strong, grips the blade well.
It works well and looks great
Great knife guard simple and clean keeps my knives safe clean and sharp
Fits the knife perfectly and is very snug, but not too difficult to release the knife.
Awesome!
Great looking, weight is good for me. Sharp!
I bought it for my sous chef who has moved away.. but he loved receiving it.. and loves it
Doesn’t really fit the knife well. It was advertised for petty knives up to 150mm however it’s really tight on the knife. Kinda scary to slide the cover on or off.
Great product! As expected.
Its a knife guard
Nigara Hamono Gyuto was for my sins 25th He absolutely loved it
Perfect was to protect my knife. Just fantastic.
Perfect protector for my knives!
It's a knife guard not much to say, does the job nothing special. Decent quality a good value overall.
I was afraid that the sheath wouldn't fit the knife but it fits perfectly. A great companion gift to go with any of the knives here!
Good Quality knife guard, like the logo as well
Works great, fits nicely.
Love the fact it is Tall ! but too long for a 240mm ...
Absolutely love this knife guard!! The fabric lining keep it from scratching your knife and it hold onto the blade perfectly if your getting a new knife you need one of these guards
Good Knife guard. It's the same as others I have already but for the price and convenience of getting one with the knife that fits is great.
Works great to keep the blade covered.
